ANGELA DULANEY
Angela Dulaney is the Director of Operations at Sterling Retirement Group, an independent, SEC-registered investment advisory firm based in the Sacramento area. She plays a key role in ensuring the firm runs efficiently while delivering a high level of service and support to both clients and advisors.
With a background in both operations and human resources, Angela focuses on creating a seamless experience—from onboarding new clients to managing account servicing and ongoing requests. Her HR experience brings an added level of organization, communication, and people-focused support to her role. She is often the point of contact clients rely on for timely communication, follow-through, and attention to detail, helping bring clarity and confidence to each step of the process.
Angela believes that behind every successful financial plan is a well-executed process. Her approach is centered on responsiveness, strong organization, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. She takes pride in supporting the advisory team so they can focus on guiding clients through important financial decisions.
Known for her warm and approachable style, Angela values building strong relationships with clients and making them feel comfortable and supported. She understands that financial matters can sometimes feel overwhelming and works to simplify the experience while keeping everything moving forward efficiently.
Angela was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources from California State University, Chico.
Family is a central part of Angela’s life. She has been married for 21 years and has two children—her daughter, Ava (18), is a freshman at California State University, Fresno studying Architecture, and her son, Gavyn (17), is a junior at Whitney High School with plans to attend Cal Poly in Fall 2027. She enjoys staying involved in her children’s academic and athletic journeys and being part of the community that surrounds them.
